New Zealand Food Safety has released a draft strategy consultation document.
Paula Dudley, General Manager and Anne-Marie Arts, Food Safety Representative from United Fresh attended a presentation on the strategy in August.
This high level document outlines the four main strategic priorities for the agency:
Consultation workshops are being held around the country.
United Fresh supports the strategic approach which addresses the main issues we face as a food producing and exporting nation.
It covers a balance between its international commitments and obligations as well as protecting consumers
