COVID-19 Alert Level 4 

The government will be moving New Zealand into COVID-19 Alert Level 4 at 11.59pm tonight.
 
This means the country is effectively on lock-down apart from essential services. You will find a list of essential services here.

United Fresh Guide to Keeping Our People & Workplaces Well – Continuity Planning for Businesses 

We have produced a guide for members and businesses to aid in their continuity of business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
The guide includes information about COVID-19 and how to help slow the spread through sound workplace and personal hygiene. It also includes Food Safety, Employers Responsibilities, Government Support that is available and helpful links for more information.

This document will be updated as we receive new information from Government officials.

Alert Level 4 – Eliminate


Risk Assessment

  • Sustained and intensive transmission
  • Widespread outbreaks
Measures that need to be taken by individuals and businesses/organistions
  • People instructed to stay at home
  • Educational facilities closed
  • Businesses closed except for essential services (e.g. supermarkets, pharmacies, clinics) and lifeline utilities
  • Rationing of supplies and requisitioning of facilities
  • Travel severely limited
  • Major reprioritisation of healthcare services
