COVID 19 UPDATE - All Businesses need NZ COVID Tracer QR Code Poster & Auckland Border Crossing Info

All Businesses must be displaying NZ COVID Tracer QR Code Poster

QR Code posters

The Prime Minister announced on Wednesday 12 August that all businesses must display a NZ COVID Tracer QR code from 11:59am on Wednesday 19 August. This is in addition to any other sign in protocols that you may have on your sites. You will need your NZ Business Number and a NZ drivers licence to complete the application.

Click here to get your QR code poster.

You will need to create a separate poster for each of your sites or unique locations but can print as many copies of each poster as you need. Print your posters in A4 and in colour (if possible). Posters should be displayed in prominent locations next to EVERY site entrance. Place them where it's easy for people to reach them to scan the code without creating an obstruction. Click here for more tips from the Ministry of Health.

Contact tracing register

You should also have a contact tracing register at your business for people who cannot use the NZ COVID Tracer app.

Entry and exit of essential horticulture industry workers in the Auckland region

We have just received advice from the Ministry of Health that it requires all essential horticulture industry operators who have staff crossing the Auckland borders to provide the following information: name and address of the business, New Zealand business number, contact person, email address and contact phone number.

Horticulture NZ have created a registry for this, link here.

This information is to support the entry and exit of essential horticulture industry workers in the Auckland region.

Please complete the form as soon as possible because it is needed by the Ministry of Health by the end of the day.  If you have any questions, please email info@hortnz.co.nz.
